Big hugs. Thank you for sharing treasured memories (and the pics!) and for so gently reminding us that farewells are inevitable, and how to prepare and remember. Your magical writing and humour help "sugar the pill" - and rainbows will now be even more special. xx

Condolences are not enough to express the loss of a four-legged fur baby. May sweet memories such as these help to console.

What a beautiful tribute to Simon. You have described so perfectly the absolute grief of losing such an important part of the family. I hope the wonderful memories help you all get through this time. Like you we have always introduced a new dog soon after - they bring joy back into the home and give you lots of excuses to talk about the one you have lost ... "do you remember when ..."

I’m so pleased to have met the dog who chewed on Margaret Thatcher, and clearly, as part of your family, lived a life to remember 🥰

Know the feeling. We lost our Wally three years ago. A beautiful read.
