Ahh to get to meet kindred sprits & a brilliant story added along this journey is always such huge a privilege

And as the bar journeyed home towards new adventures it couldn’t have found a better home

You 2 where the tonic we needed

& I see Jeremy has already invited himself to visit

We'd love to see you here...and see how the bar is settling in...we have to wait for its final placement while we finish, but I'm sure it'll get a little use even before then! Alan and I are cracking on through the tiling/bathroom refit, and the plastering team are like lightning...which is amazing to see. See you soon!

We are happy it has gone to a good home. Fantastic to meet you guys, and looking forward to a reciprocal “free bar” in the Alentejo one day soon!

Along the way we meet amazing people, who offer us the privilege of sharing experiences with them.

I live about 20 minutes from Vila Nova de Gaia, in Ovar: https://turismodocentro.pt/concelho/ovar/

Hpe you can visit Ovar some day.

What a great looking place...we'd love to visit next time we're up in Porto...although two trips in two weeks is quite a lot of driving!! Thanks for reading!

What a wonderful tale about this difficult beautiful life we chose & the wonderful people we meet along the way.

I Love that cork wall. Cork is among the best insulators both thermal and acoustic.

And it looks kinda cool too! The prices we've received aren't too bad, so hopefully we can add a little sprinkle of cork to our walls (and a couple of floors!)

Looks like a couple of contented Mein Hosts in that last photo

Relieved...that we got it here...as opposed to purely contented!
